Could this West Side Rumos be the drink of the summer?
It’s the Ramos riff that shouldn’t be as delicious as it is.
Old Love’s is a Sydney rum bar that has quickly become a favourite of bartenders and the hospo-adjacent for their hospitality, quality drinks, and impressive selection of rums from around the world.
But if that isn’t enough for you (and it really ought to be, so you should see someone about that), then this drink — the West Side Rumos — should clinch it.
“We wanted to make a Ramos, but make it tropical,” explains owner and bartender Andres Walters, who along with Callum Marra, put this drink together. “We also wanted to make a Ramos that is rum-based and doesn’t take 10 mins to make.”
Well, you know what, we reckon they’ve done it, and in the process, they’ve made the best Ramos riff in town.
