At Pleasure Club in Newtown, bar manager Sam Kirk is making delicious drinks.
This one is “an ode to Aussie nostalgia and a misspent youth,” he says. He worked on the drink with mentor and collaborator, Matt Whiley, and the result? One of the best drinks of 2024.
“[We] updated it to a more palatable version for 2024, the passion pop will bring back all those memories but without the sugar-induced hangovers!” says Sam.

15ml yuzushu
5ml passionfruit marigold vodka
5ml Lemon myrtle Campari
45ml clarified passionfruit juice
10ml simple syrup
85ml water
Force Carbonated and served long.
