Get the recipe for Odd Culture's Gibson riff
A house blend of three vermouths — and some very special collaboration pickles with Hendrick's Gin.
This recipe from Jordan Blackman at Odd Culture is one that employs a technique we’ve seen more often of late: a house vermouth blend.
For this particular riff on the Gibson, Jordan has taken equal parts of three vermouths and batched them together, to give a citrusy, flowery flavour profile to the vermouth. It’s pairs perfectly with the Hendrick’s Gin, which does the heavy lifting in this version, and the house made pickles the chefs at Odd Culture have designed just for this drink.

Ingredients
- 60ml Hendrick’s Gin
- 10ml flower vermouth
Method
Stir all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with house made pickles.
For the flower vermouth:
Combine in equal parts Oscar 697 Extra Dry Vermouth, Saison Aperitifs Summer Flowers, and Saison's Marigold Amaro.
