All the photos from the third annual Boothby Drink of the Year Awards

The live final of the RHUBI and Mix Haus cocktail competition is nearly here! The top four finalists have now been selected and are invited to the live finals at Centro 86 on Monday 25 November, where they will showcase their creations to the crowd as part of a Mix Haus fundraising event.

The finalists are: Isobel Friel, Caterpillar Club (NSW); Charlie Hunter, Savile Row (QLD); Alexandra Percy, Sante Cocktail Bar (QLD); Jac Landmark, Bar Love (WA).

Make sure to grab your tickets to the live finals, register your details via the Eventbrite link here. This female bar takeover will see the 4 finalists showcase their creations, each taking centre stage for 30 minutes to create their cocktail for all attendees to try. At the end of the night the winner will be announced!

Folks, what a night it was — we held our last big event of the year, the third annual Boothby Drink of the Year Awards, at an exclusive, invite-only party at Now & Then in Sydney this past Monday night.

I love this Drink of the Year event — it’s one last chance to get the best and brightest bartenders from around Australia into one room, and to look back on the drinks they’ve made a mark with this year. The drinks on the Top 50 make for one great drinks list, I must say.

In addition to the winners of the major awards on the night — you can see them all here, along with the Top 50 rankings — we launched the first issue of Boothby magazine in big, beautiful print.

The magazine is now on its way to bars around the country, so keep an eye out for it.
