This Kokomo Vice recipe is a good time
A frozen thriller from Bar Kokomo is Darwin.
If you’re bartending in Darwin — where it’s always hot and humid — you’re going to be well acquainted with the frozen drinkmaking arts.
And when you have bartenders like Anneliese Grazioli applying their skills to the frozen form, you’re going to get a drink that’s equal parts refreshment and flavour bomb.
Inspired by Darwin’s festival time, with a big emphasis on colour and employing local produce, that’s what you get with the Kokomo Vice at Bar Kokomo, on which Anneliese was ably assisted by Joey Folkersma, Pouya Khoshtarash, Matt Zarimis, and Pablo Stuardo.
Kokomo Vice recipe
Layer 1:
30ml Havana Club 3yo
15ml fresh lime
10g KP mango
15ml coconut syrup 1:1
40ml water
Serve frozen from a slushie machine.
Layer 2:
30ml Havana Club Anejo
15ml fresh lime
30ml dragonfruit honey cordial (local honey, red dragonfruit, water and a little acid)
40ml water
Serve frozen from a slushie machine.
